Note
Matured in a combination of both specially selected North American bourbon casks and the finest Oloroso sherry casks. The final three years spent maturing in sherry oak casks give this whisky the rich, deep colour echoed in its name. Bowmore 15 Years Old has attracted many accolades, including from Paul Pacult of The Spirit Journal who holds it aloft as "a clinic on how to finish a malt in sherry casks".
