Nose

Aromas of rich dried fruits with dark chocolate and cranberries; a hint of toasty oak mingles with a baked nutty dryness.

Palate

On the palate a creamy richness with some honey and spiced notes emerging.

Finish

The finish is smooth with a soft oak and honey sweetness lingering gently on the tongue.

Note

This is a 1st issue bottling and the first time we have bottled Portwood at 46%. It won gold in the 'Europe Single Malt Premium' category at the 2016 World Whisky Masters and was described as Full-bodied and well matured
